GCC MESSAGE
12th November 2016

What’s an ALTAR?

  •  It is a meeting place between man and spirit;
  •  A Gate – entry point for spirits on earth;
  •  A place of REGULAR interaction with a DEITY

Key points on Altars
  • Altars are from God.
  • Every altar has a SPIRIT that it subscribes to
  • It has to be serviced to be ACTIVE
  • Can be fixed or mobile (ark of covenant, human beings)
  • There are Godly altars and satanic altars
What happens at Altars?
Deity is worshipped and praised
Covenants and vows are made
Deity provides divine revelation
Dedication: life, property, endeavors, etc;
Seeking and transfer of blessings or curses if satanic.

What determines the strength of an altar?
The THRONE they  support
The nature of the covenants made
Dedication of priests in offering sacrifices
Hierarchy of deity (class of spirits) worshipped

Why altars?
God commanded us

Exodus 20:24 An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me,… in ALL PLACES where I record my name I will come unto thee,

To invite God into our pursuits.

Genesis 1:26-28

 Psalm 115:16
To redeem the earth back to the Lord:
2 Corinthians 4:4,
John 16:11

To establish God’s Kingdom on earth
Matthew 6:10,
Ephesians 6:12,

The New Testament altar
1 Corinthians 6: 19
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

FOUNDATION is the personal altar;
As a Christian you must diligently service your personal altar DAILY….

How to build altars

It starts with building your personal  altar; by commitment to a consistent time of prayer with the Lord.
Taking prayer personal retreats and fasts
Joining other prayer altars in areas where you have a burden.
        Proverbs 27:17
         Matthew 13:44
         Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth  all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

    Hosea 4:6
    My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Launch of GCC Tuesday Altar
For the last four years GCC men have been meeting every Tuesday at 5am for 1 hour.
The Lord spoke to us to open this altar to all members of the congregation
Today we invite you all to join us at this altar as one way of strengthening your personal prayer life.
