WHO IS A REAL MAN?October 14, 2013
FREEDOM FROM THE SLAVERY OF SEXUAL SINOctober 21, 2013
GCC Message 15thSept, 2013.
She is a woman of God
All the Biblical characters that we love and respect were of women who loved their God dearly.
Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live
Reverence points to the fear of God.
We need to love God with all of our hearts. Recently we studied on Mary the sister to Martha; her love for God is what made her a heroin of Faith. Mary Magdalene, Hannah, Anna, all of these women move us not because they were beautiful, it is because they loved God.
Fall in Love with your God.
1. She is a woman and not a man
God made 2 kinds of people. Male and Female and he made our features totally different. Our voices are different, we are physically different. Men have muscle women have shape and looks.
The Lord structured us differently and even the things we do and the interests sometimes are different.
It is important for our girls and our women to be happy for being women. Whenever a woman behaves like a man it totally repels us men.
Please do not talk like men. Do not wrestle like men. It just switches men off.
Every time a woman moves from her role as a woman it makes both men and women to reject you. It may not be muscle but your behavior.
The feminist movement. Women emancipation. Women supremacy.
2. She is decent and modest.
3 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. 4 Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. 5 For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful. They were submissive to their own husbands, 6 like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her master. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.
Being decent and modest points:
- Moderate. Smart but not so flashy.
- Avoid attracting men sexually you will be misunderstood.
- Do not be too colored.
- Never ever cause attention to yourself.
- Be simple and beautiful.
- Be smart and clean.
- Married ladies smartness should continue even after your marriage.
Your inner beauty is more important than lipstick. We want to see God in you. I want to look in your eyes and see Jesus but not someone with enticing lustful eyes. The women you see in movies are not real, that is a film and it is their way to make money.
3. She is respectable and strong.
7 Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. 8 For physical training (keeping in shape) is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.
12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young (because you are a woman), but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
§ Respect yourself then others will respect you.
§ You are a princess if you are a girl and you are a queen if you are a married woman.
§ You are a child of God. You are an heiress of God.
§ Never ever make yourself cheap.
§ Let not at one time make people think you are one of those girls who stand at Kabalagala at 11pm looking for men.
§ Never ever let people think you are cheap.
§ A real woman is firm and principled.
§ She knows what she believes and not ready to be swayed or distracted.
How do you carry yourself? Your strength is strength of character and not muscles.
Dignity is one of those words that come to us.
This is the Proverbs 31 woman.
Prov. 31:13 – “She works with her hands.” Verse 27 says, “She does not eat the bread of idleness.”
o If she is employed she works and not waste time looking at her face.
o She plans for her family.
o She does not delegate the major responsibility of a wife to a house maid.
o She is perseveres in life.
A REAL WOMAN IS REAL. SHE IS NOT THE MOVIE STAR WOMAN. SHE IS NOT YOUR CELEBRITY MUSIC ARTISTS.
SHE IS VERY BEAUTIFUL BUT NOT ARTIFICIAL
HER POWER IS IN HER CHARACTER
